Embark on a rewarding assignment as a Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to support patient care and work closely with a collaborative diagnostic imaging team. Your expertise in interventional radiology nursing will ensure safe patient procedures and optimal clinical outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Experience in interventional radiology or related acute care environments
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in assisting with interventional radiology procedures, including patient monitoring and sedation protocols
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout invasive imaging or therapeutic procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and technologists to facilitate safe and effective procedures
- Manage conscious sedation, administer medications, and ensure accurate documentation
- Educate patients and families on procedure details, pre- and post-care instructions
- Uphold infection control standards and maintain a safe clinical environment

$2,322 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
