Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current RN license, valid in North Carolina or compact state
  • 1+ year experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing highly preferred
  • Proficient with IR procedures, sedation, patient monitoring, and emergency response
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care during interventional radiology procedures
  • Monitor and assess patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
  • Administer medications and sedation as directed
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care
