A current NH RN license is required for this role in Interventional Radiology located within a well-equipped hospital setting. This contract opportunity is based in Exeter, NH, and is ideal for experienced registered nurses seeking to utilize their skills in a specialized procedural environment.
Location:
Based in a hospital with 2 Interventional Radiology suites featuring Philips Bi-Plane and GE Mac Lab equipment, this unit operates on the first floor and serves a fast-paced, technologically advanced procedural department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in Interventional Radiology, assisting with procedures such as EKOS, Angiograms, Trevo, Cerebral Coiling, and Biopsies
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses and technicians to ensure high-quality patient care
- Perform patient monitoring using state-of-the-art GE equipment and document care in the Meditech EMR system
- Administer moderate sedation safely under established protocols
- Commit to weekend and on-call responsibilities (approximately 1 weekend per month and 1 call night per week)
Qualifications / Required Experience:
- Current NH RN license at submission
- Experience in Procedural Departments, Critical Care, Emergency Department, or with Moderate Sedation
- Certification in ACLS and BLS required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reside within approximately 40 minutes of the hospital
- Previous Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience is preferred
Schedule / Hours:
- 1 weekend per month
- 1 call night per week
