Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology (IR) to join a dynamic healthcare setting in Evanston, IL. The role demands a minimum of two years of nursing experience including previous travel assignment experience, and proficiency in IR, Peripheral Vascular (PV), and vascular procedures with pulmonary embolism (PE) management.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in interventional radiology, vascular, and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Manage patient care before, during, and after IR/PV interventions with a focus on safety and precision.
- Respond promptly and effectively to on-call vascular emergencies and assist within a multidisciplinary team.
- Document patient care and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic).
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Illinois nursing license (RN) and current certifications in CPR and ACLS.
- Minimum 2+ years nursing experience in IR/PV/vascular with pulmonary embolism care.
- Completion of at least one travel nursing contract.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records.
- Ability to provide on-call vascular coverage (one week every three weeks).
Schedule:
- 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week (40 hours).
- On-call vascular coverage with $10/hr call rate and 2-hour minimum callback.
- No weekend shifts unless on call; holiday coverage as needed.
This is an immediate travel assignment starting within 2-3 weeks or sooner. Candidates must submit an updated resume, one current supervisory reference, skills checklist, proof of IL licensure, and detailed experience in IR/PV/vascular care including PEs.
