Step into a key role supporting patient care in Interventional Radiology (IR) and Cardiac Catheterization Lab nursing. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing IR and Cath Lab procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
- Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and support staff in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Administer medications, IVs, and conscious sedation according to protocol
- Perform thorough patient education on pre- and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
- Utilize critical thinking skills to respond promptly to medical emergencies in procedure areas
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Proven clinical experience in Interventional Radiology and/or Cardiac Catheterization Lab settings
- Advanced knowledge of sterile technique, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic monitoring
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities
- High level of professional integrity and patient-centered focus
