As an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Interventional Radiology (IR), youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, gain exposure to varied healthcare leadership styles, and participate in cutting-edge medical procedures. Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in pre-procedure assessments, IV placement, conscious sedation, and post-procedural care
- Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
- Willingness to quickly adapt to new systems and workflows
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing IR procedures
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures and recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with facility protocols
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and support staff
- Educate patients and their families regarding procedure preparation and post-care instructions
- Adhere to strict patient safety and infection control guidelines
