An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology to support outpatient radiology services. This contract position spans 13 weeks and is ideal for candidates committed to delivering exceptional specialty care.

Schedule/Hours

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m.

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of specialty nursing experience in Interventional Radiology
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated expertise with interventional radiology procedures, including CT Coronary exams
• Strong clinical skills in regulating heart rates and administering medications as needed (including nitroglycerin)
• Experience in a high-volume outpatient radiology environment
• Professional communication and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform complex nursing care during interventional radiology procedures, with a primary focus on CT coronary exams at the outpatient radiology center
• Monitor and regulate patient heart rates, administering medications and interventions to support optimal exam outcomes
• Provide patient education and ensure accurate documentation before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain a safe procedure environment by abiding by established policies, protocols, and safety standards
• Support collaboration between radiologists, technologists, and ancillary staff to facilitate smooth workflow
