Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Maintain clear communication and demonstrate teamwork to support department operations.
- Navigate EMR documentation using EPIC and assist with imaging utilizing advanced Siemens and Cannon bi-plane equipment.
- Participate in call rotations alongside full-time and part-time staff, supporting 24/7 coverage.
- Contribute to holiday coverage as scheduled with manager approval.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RN licensure with a minimum of 1 year in Interventional Radiology nursing.
- BLS certification required; ARRT-R certification preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with diverse patient acuity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a cooperative attitude.
- Willingness to undergo a departmental orientation period to integrate with the team.
Schedule:
- Non-rotating shifts; assignments on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts or weekends depending on contract.
- Call duties shared equitably among staff.
- Contract duration of 13 weeks with consistent shift scheduling.
