Exciting opportunity available for experienced Registered Nurses with a background in Interventional Radiology. This contract role focuses on specialized patient care within an outpatient radiology setting, supporting CT Coronary exams and interventional radiology procedures.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30am 4:00pm
• 13-week engagement

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license (current and in good standing)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology
• Experience performing CT Coronary exams, including regulating heart rates and medication administration (such as nitroglycerin)
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Candidates must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in a busy outpatient radiology or special procedures environment
• Strong assessment and IV skills
• Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume environment focused on patient safety and comfort

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care throughout the pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure periods in Interventional Radiology
• Monitor cardiac status, regulate heart rates, and administer medications for patients undergoing CT Coronary exams
• Offer patient education, address questions, and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all radiology protocols
