Schedule:
- Day Shift
- On-Call Rotation: Weeknights, Weekends, and Holidays
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required)
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in critical care
- Experience in cardiovascular intervention and IR at a Level 1 Trauma Center required
- Active IL RN licensure by the IL Dept. of Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (current at time of application)
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care using nursing process and critical thinking
- Complete assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation of patients
- Administer prescribed treatments and medications following policy and standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and support patient/family education
- Participate in shared governance and department performance improvement initiatives
- Provide clinical expertise to other departments and address system concerns
- Contribute to the continuous learning culture, peer review, and evidence-based practice
