Job Description

A healthcare opportunity is available for a registered nurse with expertise in Interventional Radiology (IR) to support patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract position offers the chance to work Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities, and participate in important clinical tasks such as assisting with PICC line and midline insertions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care in an Interventional Radiology setting
  • Assist with insertion and management of PICC lines and midlines
  • Float between Mercy Downtown and Mercy Southwest facilities as needed
  • Respond to call duties and manage emergent patient care situations
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Proven experience or training in Interventional Radiology nursing
  • Ability to float between two hospital locations
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable managing call responsibilities

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • On-call availability required

Contract Details:

  • 13-week assignment
