Schedule/Hours:
- Travel contract assignment (details discussed during interview)
- May be required to float to Med/Surg and Critical Care units as needed
Qualifications:
- Recent experience in an Infusion clinic setting required
- Active Chemotherapy certification and recent chemotherapy administration experience
- Minimum four years of acute nursing experience in Oncology required
- Current California RN license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Agency employees must be W-2
Responsibilities:
- Deliver infusion and chemotherapy treatments following all established protocols
- Administer medications safely and monitor patients for side effects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create optimal care plans
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation in EPIC
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment
- Adapt to floating requirements in Med/Surg and Critical Care units when necessary
