Provide specialized nursing care in oncology infusion at a respected academic medical center. This travel position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic outpatient setting, delivering excellent patient care while managing complex gastrointestinal treatment regimens.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure
- Minimum 2 years oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center setting
- At least 1 year of outpatient infusion experience
- 1+ years of travel nurse experience preferred
- Strong IV insertion and patient assessment skills
- Proficient in managing complex gastrointestinal chemotherapy regimens
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification required

Schedule/Hours:
- 36-hour workweek
- Day shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 8:00 AM 8:00 PM
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotation
Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies following established protocols
- Monitor and assess patients clinical status throughout treatment
- Manage vascular access and troubleshoot IV complications
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and side effect management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive oncology care
