Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license, with current credentials recognized for ICU practice
- At least 1 year of recent ICU experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary critical care team
- Familiarity with electronic health records and up-to-date charting
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position with full-time, rotating shifts (day/night/weekend availability may be required to meet patient care needs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring condition and responding swiftly to changes
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and implement physician orders in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians and allied health professionals to create patient-centered care plans
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced medical equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients families, offering support and information in challenging situations
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all health and safety regulations
