Schedule / Hours:

  • Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week, guaranteed 36 hours)
  • Block scheduling requests considered
  • Weekend coverage as needed
  • No call requirements

In this dynamic ICU setting, youll gain exposure to a diverse range of workplace practices, including advanced care management for medical, cardiac, and neuro patients. Add sought-after experience working with complex titrating drips, ventilated compressors, and EPIC charting to your resume, all while working alongside a supportive team.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license or permit with Missouri State Board of Nursing
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (can be completed within probation or 12-month period)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an ICU setting
  • Expertise in critical care, post-stroke, titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), Bipap use, Airvos, and ventilated compressors
  • Ability to float to Med Surg and Telemetry as needed
  • Strong teamwork and proactive communication skills
  • Ability to pass a medical calculation test preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based ICU nursing care
  • Assess and respond to changes in patient condition promptly
  • Safely titrate medications and manage advanced life support equipment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes
  • Properly document care and patient progress using EPIC
