Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; flexible scheduling options to accommodate work/life balance
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in New Yorkrequired
- A minimum of two (2) years of recent ICU experience
- Must have stepdown/PCU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Telemetry experience required
- High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Familiarity with Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar/sub-dural drains, 3NS, cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coils/clips, DBS insertions, VP shunts, and seizures strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver competent, patient-centered care adhering to established ICU standards
- Participate in advanced clinical interventions for critically ill neuro and medical patients
- Perform and document neuro checks and manage specialized equipment and drips
- Assume charge nurse, preceptor, or committee roles as needed
