Schedule:

• Nights: 3x12 hour shifts (36 guaranteed hours/week; block scheduling available on request)
• Weekend coverage as needed
• No call requirements

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or valid temporary work permit
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience
• Active American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS (or ability to obtain within specified timeframes)
• Proficiency in titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), use of Bipaps and Airvos, ventilator management, and recognizing patient deterioration
• Ability to float to Med Surg and Telemetry as needed
• Preferred: Successful completion of a medical calculation test
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to unit needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality critical care to medical, cardiac, and neuro patients (avg ratios 2/3:1 in a 19-bed unit)
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Uphold professionalism in conduct and attire (black scrubs required, no hoodies)
• Maintain a focus on patient safety and positive outcomes
