Step into a fast-paced, multidisciplinary ICU environment specializing in the care of a diverse patient population, including neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma cases. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled registered nurse who thrives in critical care and values collaborative, technologically advanced settings.

Schedule:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• AM/PM rotation

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license to practice in Washington, DC
• Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience
• NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program
• BSN highly preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in the use of advanced technology for critical care, such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, central lines, ECMO, Impella, CRRT, and more

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive and compassionate care to critically ill patients using a wide array of specialized equipment and monitoring technologies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans
• Manage and respond to changing patient conditions with precision and sound clinical judgment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team
• Maintain regulatory, licensure, and safety standards at all times
