Schedule & Hours:

  • Night shifts (3x12 hours/week), with block scheduling options available.
  • 36 hours per week guaranteed.
  • Weekend hours as needed; no on-call obligations.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active RN license with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or a Missouri temporary work permit.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications (or completion during the initial period).
  • Minimum of 2 years recent ICU/Critical Care experience.
  • Proficiency in caring for critical, cardiac, neuro, and post-stroke patients.
  • Track record with titrating cardiac drips (including Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), use of Bipaps, Airvo systems, and ventilated compressors.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC).
  • Must be a self-starter and a collaborative team player.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality care in a 19-bed ICU with an average nurse-to-patient ratio of 2-3:1.
  • Float as needed to Med Surg and Telemetry units.
  • Monitor patient progress, anticipate complications, and intervene promptly.
  • Demonstrate sound medical calculations, patient assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
