This opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with ICU expertise seeking a dynamic contract position in Waipahu, HI. The role requires active Hawaii RN licensure prior to the start of the assignment. Nurses will provide critical care in the ICU, with flexibility to support the Progressive Care Unit and Medical-Surgical areas during fluctuations in patient census. Candidates must be prepared to work consecutive weekends when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to PCU or Med-Surg units as census demands.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Hawaii RN license required.
- Proven experience in ICU nursing strongly preferred.
- Ability to work consecutive weekends if required.
- Flexibility to float between units.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
