Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven ability to float seamlessly between ICU and step-down units.
  • Proficient in rapid patient assessment and skilled in advanced critical care interventions.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to interdisciplinary teamwork.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to critically ill adults in a conglomerate ICU environment.
  • Monitor patients, interpret vital signs, and respond rapidly to changes in condition.
  • Implement and adjust patient care plans in coordination with physicians and allied health professionals.
  • Utilize critical thinking and expert-level technical skills to manage medical devices and life-sustaining equipment.
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety and quality while maintaining meticulous documentation.
  • Float as needed within the critical care service line, adapting efficiently to ICU and step-down assignments.
  • Provide support and education to patients families during periods of acute illness.
