Job Description

Deliver advanced patient care in a specialized ICU setting, supporting a dynamic team in a progressive hospital environment. This contract position calls for a dedicated Registered Nurse with robust experience in critical care and the flexibility to work across various intensive care units. Youll care for patients in a conglomerate ICU encompassing medical, surgical, and cardiovascular cases, as well as floating between ICU and step-down units as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active RN license.
  • Minimum of three years recent experience in an ICU environment.
  • Proficiency in managing diverse patient populations, including medical, surgical, and cardiovascular cases.
  • Adaptability to float between ICU and step-down units within the critical care service line.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based critical care to a variety of ICU patients, ensuring safety and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for medically complex patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and carry out treatment protocols.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform advanced interventions as necessary.
  • Support patients families with clear communication and compassionate guidance.
  • Contribute to a positive, solution-focused atmosphere, promoting best practices in all interactions.
