Job Description

Make a significant impact by providing exceptional care in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit. This contract position seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse with strong ICU experience to deliver expert care and collaborate with an outstanding multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU
  • Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions, promptly recognizing changes and responding accordingly
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage advanced clinical equipment
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare staff regarding patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families on conditions and treatment protocols
  • Accurately document all care and interventions in electronic health records
  • Uphold the highest standards for patient safety and infection prevention
  • Participate in rapid response situations and emergent interventions as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience in a hospital setting
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficient in critical care skills and the use of specialized ICU equipment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Exceptional assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
