Key Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Proficiency with ventilators, infusion pumps, and other ICU technologies
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient symptoms, vital signs, and responses to treatment
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the care team
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced interventions as prescribed
- Effectively communicate with patients families, providing support and education throughout the treatment process
- Ensure accurate charting and compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards
- Participate in emergency response interventions as needed within the ICU
