Job Description
Deliver critical care in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, supporting patients with complex medical needs such as ARDS, sepsis, COPD, DKA, and stroke. This opportunity is ideal for registered nurses with a minimum of two years ICU experience looking to utilize their expertise in a well-resourced 16-bed unit with an average daily census of 10 patients.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill patients with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 in ICU and 3:1 in intermediate care
- Provide expert care including arterial line management, vasoactive medication titration, ventilator management and weaning, and chest tube care
- Collaborate closely with an experienced multidisciplinary team including respiratory therapists, hospitalists, intensivists, and CNAs
- Use EPIC EMR for documentation and patient monitoring with support from modern equipment such as Alaris IV pumps and GE monitors
- Assist new graduate nurses by providing guidance and clinical support
- Float to med-surg units or provide resource support to the emergency department as needed
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Active RN license with at least 2 years of ICU experience
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Proficient in ventilator management and titration of vasoactive medications
