Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, documenting all interventions according to established protocols
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions, procedures, and ongoing care needs
- Maintain a calm, adaptable approach in high-pressure situations
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license and eligibility to practice in the state
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent ICU nursing experience strongly preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Exceptional clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient-centered care
