Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intensive monitoring and comprehensive nursing care to patients experiencing shock, trauma, and other acute, non-surgical, life-threatening conditions
- Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Supervise and guide various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care
- Collaborate and coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Exercise sound professional judgment and discretion in a demanding, critical care setting
- Monitor patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation adhering to clinical and regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Recent experience in an ICU or other high-acuity setting
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
