Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year recent experience in ICU or critical care
- Proficiency in implementing the nursing process and established standards of care
- Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Ability to supervise, mentor, and direct assigned nursing staff
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with interdisciplinary teams
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position; specific shift details to be provided during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated and comprehensive nursing care to ICU patientsfocusing on those experiencing shock, trauma, or other life-threatening conditions
- Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient status using advanced critical care skills
- Oversee and guide nursing staff, ensuring adherence to protocols and delivering safe, effective care
- Collaborate closely with physicians and allied healthcare professionals to devise and implement patient-centered care plans
- Apply sound judgment and utilize professional discretion to address rapidly changing patient needs
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families
