Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiac critical care experience
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and adaptability in high-pressure situations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients
- Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create tailored care plans
- Respond to emergencies, utilizing cardiac-specific expertise
- Educate patients and their families about treatments, recovery, and prevention
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety guidelines
