Schedule:

• Every other weekend required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license with ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Expertise in ventilator and sedation management, and medication titration
• Positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to teamwork
• Familiarity with trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion procedures
• Comfortable with GE monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis med dispense, and Drager vents
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Ability to float with staff and fellow travelers as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a patient ratio of 2:1, ensuring high standards of care for critically ill patients
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team, supported by techs and unit secretaries
• Adhere to AIDET protocols and complete communication boards for optimal patient experience
• Provide thorough medication teaching and patient education
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation within Meditech
• Uphold infection control practices and hospital standards in a Trauma III certified facility
