Job Description
Provide expert critical care nursing in an intensive care setting focused on medical, non-surgical patients experiencing shock, trauma, or other life-threatening conditions. This role requires the ability to deliver coordinated nursing care, supervise and direct nursing staff, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams using sound clinical judgment and professional discretion.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care following established standards and the nursing process.
- Manage and coordinate care for a group of critically ill patients with complex medical needs.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff at various levels, ensuring adherence to care protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with critical care nursing experience.
- Proven ability to provide intensive, comprehensive care to medically complex patients.
- Strong leadership skills to supervise and coordinate assigned nursing teams.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
- Previous experience in an ICU setting preferred.
