Job Description

Deliver specialized and compassionate care as a Registered Nurse in the ICU, offering essential support to critically ill patients experiencing shock, trauma, or other acute conditions. You will play a key role in providing intensive monitoring and comprehensive treatment for a diverse patient group, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach according to established standards of care.

Schedule/Hours:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active RN license and certifications, current and in good standing
• Previous ICU experience required, with strong knowledge of critical care protocols
• Ability to efficiently utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Demonstrated leadership skills to supervise and guide assigned nursing personnel
• Excellent critical thinking to independently manage complex situations
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, patients, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and coordinate skilled nursing care for a designated group of ICU patients
• Perform detailed assessments and continual monitoring of medical and non-surgical patients in critical condition
• Maintain vigilance for changes in patient condition, responding rapidly with appropriate interventions
• Supervise and guide other nursing staff, fostering a collaborative care environment
• Apply professional judgment and independent discretion in challenging or emergent circumstances
• Work hand-in-hand with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient safety and care quality
• Accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in health records
