Job Description

An outstanding opportunity awaits for a skilled Registered Nurse with ICU experience. This vital role is dedicated to providing intensive and comprehensive care for critically ill, non-surgical patients who require close monitoring due to life-threatening conditions such as shock or trauma. Your leadership and expertise will help ensure the highest level of patient care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned critically ill patients following established standards and the nursing process
  • Guide, supervise, and direct activities of assigned nursing staff to maintain excellence in patient care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient treatment plans
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient responses to interventions and changes in condition
  • Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in fast-paced, high-acuity situations
  • Foster a supportive and positive environment for patients, families, and staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an ICU setting
  • Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, monitoring, and intervention for critical conditions
  • Strong leadership qualities and supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
  • BLS and ACLS certification
