Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week assignment
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts (7 pm-7 am)
• Every other weekend and holiday required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care to ICU patients, maintaining a 2:1 patient ratio in a 7-bed unit
• Utilize EPIC charting to accurately document and monitor patient progress
• Float as needed to Med-Surg and, rarely, to the ERwith orientation provided for ED as required
• Provide leadership support as House Supervisor when requested, acting as a resource for the nursing team (orientation available)
• Assist in maintaining critical equipment and supplies, including daily crash cart and temperature checks
• Adhere to compliance and safety standards, adapting to the fast-paced, evolving ICU environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Illinois RN license
• Minimum 2 years experience in ICU or Critical Care
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• EPIC charting proficiency
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, resilience, and solid team communication skills
• Willingness to float and collaborate across departments as patient care needs shift
