Set against the welcoming charm of southern Illinois, this 13-week travel position in Sesser offers a perfect blend of professional challenge and personal adventure. With a start date of either 5/4 or 5/18, youll experience the unique pace of a regional ICU known for resourcefulness, teamwork, and a patient-focused environmentall while enjoying access to serene parks, historic small towns, and local attractions during your downtime.
Working overnight 12-hour shifts (7p-7a), youll thrive in a collaborative atmosphereproviding direct care in a 7-bed ICU with a 2:1 patient ratio. Expanding your expertise, you may occasionally support the Emergency Room or Med-Surg, with full orientation and clinical resources provided. There are opportunities for further leadership exposure by serving as a resource RN or house supervisor, giving you hands-on experience in both clinical and supervisory roles. EPIC charting skills are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Schedule/Hours:
- 36 guaranteed hours/week
- 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage
- No on-call; one-hour callback if required due to census
Qualifications:
- Active IL RN license
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications (must be current)
- Minimum 2 years ICU/critical care RN experience
- Prior EPIC charting experience
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality care to ICU patients
- Floating to Med-Surg or ER as needed (orientation provided)
- Acting as resource RN or house supervisor when required
- Assisting with unit operations (crash cart and temperature checks, supply management)
