Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
  • 48 guaranteed hours per week (overtime applies after 48 hours)
  • Every other weekend/holiday rotation
  • 13-week engagement starting 5/4, with bi-weekly orientation
  • No on-call required; if called back due to low census, must arrive within one hour

Qualifications:

  • Active IL State RN License
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications (documentation required upon submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU/Critical Care experience
  • Proficiency with EPIC charting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change, exhibit resilience, and work collaboratively
  • Willingness to float to Med-Surg (with orientation if needed) or act as House Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to a 2:1 patient ratio in a 7-bed ICU
  • Function as a resource to staff, ensuring quality and safety of care
  • Float to other units as needed, supporting Med-Surg or, rarely, Emergency Department
  • Perform crash cart and temperature checks, and manage supply/med access as directed
