Job Description

Provide critical care as a registered nurse specializing in intensive care for a diverse patient population. This contract position offers night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, starting immediately, in a reputable medical center located in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Responsibilities include coordinating and implementing patient care tailored to individual needs while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. You'll work closely with healthcare teams to deliver compassionate, effective treatment, and uphold patient rights with clear, age-appropriate communication. Flexibility is essential, as the role demands adaptability to variable schedules and emergencies within a clean, well-ventilated, and smoke-free environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact state license.
  • BLS and ACLS Certifications from the American Heart Association required.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills applicable to ICU patient care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with patients and families.
  • Physical ability to manage emergency situations and perform tasks requiring strength, coordination, and mobility.
