Experienced Registered Nurses with critical care expertise have an opportunity to provide specialized patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract position is based in Santa Fe, NM, offering an engaging night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver safe, efficient nursing care tailored to the patient populations age and condition.
• Adhere to established unit standards and organizational goals to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain respectful and clear communication with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Manage clinical practice demonstrating effectiveness consistent with professional standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current New Mexico RN license or an active Compact state license.
• Required certifications include BLS and ACLS via AHA; TNCC certification is mandatory.
• Proficient in EMR systems, with experience using EPIC strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage emergency and critical care situations with composure.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols in varied patient care environments.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Exposure to infectious diseases and bloodborne pathogens; adherence to strict infection control practices is required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as patient transfers and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
• Must possess good peripheral vision, color vision, hearing, and fine motor skills to ensure patient safety.

Additional Details

• Night shift hours: 7 PM 7 AM.
• Floating across multiple care locations may be required.
• Two openings available for Clinical Nurse levels I, II, III, or IV.
