This contract opportunity centers on providing coordinated nursing care to assigned patients, while also supporting education and development within a Float Pool team structure. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- Demonstrated ICU nursing experience with critical care competencies
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication abilities for collaborating with patients, families, and team members
- Capability to supervise, delegate, and direct support staff
- Familiarity with up-to-date vaccination requirements for healthcare roles
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based, coordinated ICU-level nursing care to assigned patients
- Supervise and direct nursing staff within the Float Pool, ensuring appropriate coverage and competency
- Collect, analyze, and utilize patient health data to define care plans and interventions
- Implement and evaluate individualized care plans focused on positive patient outcomes
- Educate patients, families, and staff, fostering a safe and healing environment
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless and compassionate care, including comprehensive discharge planning
- Appropriately delegate tasks to team members and support a collaborative work culture
- Fulfill additional duties as needed to support patient and facility needs
