A current ICU Registered Nurse is needed immediately for a travel assignment in San Carlos, AZ. This role requires flexibility, critical care expertise, and the ability to take on additional call responsibilities. The position includes opportunities to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed, making adaptability and strong clinical skills essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to ICU patients within a fast-paced environment.
- Float to Medical-Surgical units as necessary to support patient care demands.
- Participate in assigned 24-hour call shifts, responding promptly to patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Utilize Meditech 6.0 electronic medical records (preferred) for documentation.
- Adhere to all facility policies, including flu vaccination and travel radius requirements.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure with ICU specialty certification.
- Valid ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Proven experience working in an ICU setting.
- Ability to take call shifts lasting 24 hours.
- Familiarity with Meditech 6.0 preferred, but not mandatory.
- Willingness to follow a 100-mile radius rule regarding permanent residence.
- Flexibility to work required shifts with minimal time off (no more than 3 days off per 13-week contract).
Assignment Details:
- Location: San Carlos, Arizona.
- Job Type: Travel Nursing.
- Contract includes up to 13 weeks with up to 3 shift cancellations possible by the facility.
- Return to office (RTO) requests limited to no more than 3 days during the contract period.
- Flu vaccine required with no exceptions.
