As a travel RN working in a fast-paced ICU setting, youll manage complex patient care cases, gaining skills that elevate your professional expertise. This role provides hands-on experience in acute and post-operative care, equipping you for future leadership and specialized opportunities. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; details upon interview
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Active FL RN or multi-state RN license (must be included with application)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association, required)
- Demonstrated experience with ventilators/trach, central line management, and preferred wound care
- Previous ICU or critical care experience
- Ability to float to lower acuity units as required
- Team-oriented, adaptable approach and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive patient assessment and care planning
- Advanced life support, wound care, and ventilator management
- Administration of IV fluids and medications; suctioning procedures
- Monitoring and documentation of vital signs; equipment troubleshooting
- Assisting in procedures and responding to emergent situations
- Acting as patient advocate and supporting families with education and guidance
