Seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to provide exceptional clinical care on a full-time contract basis. This position focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered services in a dynamic ICU environment. You will play a vital role in coordinating and implementing care for diverse patient populations in a manner consistent with established standards.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Full-time contract

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact state RN license
• BLS and ACLS Certification via AHA
• TNCC Certification required
• Proficient with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
• In-depth knowledge of ICU protocols and patient care, tailored to various ages and needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, establish care priorities, and document findings
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, revising as necessary based on patient progress
• Perform and document appropriate nursing interventions and Point of Care testing
• Actively participate in health education and discharge planning for patients and families
• Effectively delegate assignments, coordinate team workflow, and support new staff orientation
• Communicate openly and respectfully with staff, physicians, patients, and families
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and safe work environment
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and best practices
