Schedule:
- Full-time, nights: 7PM 7AM
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
- BLS and ACLS certifications via the American Heart Association required
- TNCC certification required
- EMR experience (EPIC)
- Proficient in clinical skills relevant to ICU patient populations
- Strong understanding of patient rights and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality, patient-centered care in the ICU
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop and revise care plans, and ensure timely interventions
- Engage patients and their families in education and discharge planning
- Delegate and coordinate assignments to support effective unit workflow
- Serve as a mentor and resource for staff and students, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Participate in continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards of safety and ethical practice
- Support optimal patient experience by providing compassionate, respectful communication
