Deliver expert patient care in a dynamic intensive care setting, utilizing your specialized RN-ICU skills to provide life-saving interventions. This contract nursing opportunity offers the chance to work with critically ill patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in patient outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an ICU or critical care setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Strong knowledge of ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced pharmacology
- Ability to respond to emergencies swiftly and appropriately
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Experience collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for critically ill patients
- Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with standards
- Administer medications, assist with procedures, and manage life-support equipment
- Provide education and support to patients and family members
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain infection control and safety protocols at all times
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the ICU
