Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• At least one year of recent ICU nursing experience recommended
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Effective communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work calmly under pressure, managing rapidly changing situations
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical nursing practices

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract assignment
• Rotating shifts may be required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Overtime opportunities may be available based on unit needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitoring of critically ill patients
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
• Administer medications and manage life-support equipment according to protocols
• Accurately document interventions and patient progress in the medical record
• Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current with ICU best practices
