An opportunity is available for a registered nurse with critical care experience to work in an intensive care unit setting. This travel nursing position offers a chance to apply your specialized skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to providing advanced patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with ICU certification or relevant critical care experience
- Proficiency in monitoring and managing critically ill patients
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends
Location: This role is based in Rock Island, Illinois, a vibrant city situated along the Mississippi River known for its rich history, beautiful riverfront parks, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Residents enjoy cultural attractions, recreational activities, and convenient access to larger metropolitan areas.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changing patient conditions
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols
Schedule:
- 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Every weekend
