Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
  • Valid NY RN license (NY license only)
  • Extensive pediatric cardiac care experience required
  • Proficient in telemetry monitoring
  • Certifications required (American Heart Association only):
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to pediatric cardiac patients, from infants to young adults
  • Perform ongoing assessments and respond to acute clinical changes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement individualized care
  • Manage and interpret telemetry and advanced monitoring
