A specialized opportunity is available for a registered nurse with ICU experience to provide critical care support on nights. This 13-week contract position offers a chance to work in a dynamic ICU environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
Location: Port Gibson, MS
Port Gibson is a charming town known for its rich history and Southern hospitality. Nestled in the heart of Mississippi, it offers a welcoming atmosphere with easy access to local amenities, cultural sites, and scenic outdoor areas.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Rotating weekends
Qualifications and Required Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with ICU experience
- Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
- Must reside 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment
- Candidates missing any of the above requirements will not be considered
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Monitor patient conditions and respond effectively to physiological changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and care provided
- Adhere to all facility and regulatory protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care
