Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license (RN)
- Minimum of one year recent experience working in an ICU setting
- Proficient in assessment and monitoring of critically ill patients
- Strong understanding of ICU equipment and procedures
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities
- Ability to function effectively under pressure in a collaborative team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients conditions to physicians and other healthcare staff
- Administer medications, manage intravenous lines, and ensure proper documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families regarding recovery processes and ongoing care needs
- Adhere to established protocols, safety procedures, and evidence-based standards of practice
