Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour night shifts
- 24 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Rotating holidays
- No on-call required
- First to float when necessary
Ideal Experience
- Minimum 3 years RN experience in critical care
- Direct background in high-acuity Cardiac Surgery OR Neuro ICU
- Proven competence with EVDSs, NI patient monitoring, and advanced heart failure care
- Experience managing stroke patients, preferably in a stroke-certified program
- Familiarity with CRRT, Balloon pumps, Swans, and surgical recovery
- Active IL RN license
- Current ACLS, NIHSS, BLS certifications
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care to Neuro and Cardiac ICU populations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity setting
- Respond with expertise to rapidly changing clinical conditions
- Support patient recovery post-surgery and during advanced cardiac or neuro care
- Float to other critical care areas as needed
