This travel nursing assignment is an outstanding chance to broaden your scope in pediatric cardiovascular intensive care. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment
- Shift assignment within ICU, stepdown, and non-ICU as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU
- Active RN license
- Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS
- Strong adaptability and collaboration skills
- Effective communication with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, specialized care to pediatric patients in the Cardiovascular ICU
- Manage nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2 for ICU status, 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU cases
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to implement care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and respond swiftly to changes
- Document all care activities accurately and according to best practices
