You will collaborate within Western New Yorks only pediatric cardiac care center, serving infants, children, adolescents, and young adultseach presenting complex or rare congenital cardiac conditions. This specialized setting enables you to deepen your expertise in pediatric critical care, expand your clinical skill set, and work alongside esteemed professionals who bring a range of leadership and approaches to patient care. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment, flexible scheduling typical of hospital environments
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current NY license (NY License ONLY)
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrated RN-ICU experience, particularly in Pediatric Cardiac Care
- Solid telemetry skills and comfort caring for highly acute pediatric populations
- Required certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver state-of-the-art nursing care to pediatric patients with a variety of congenital and acquired cardiac conditions
- Participate in the full continuum of care from diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures through long-term follow-up
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary medical teams and family members, ensuring a holistic approach to patient and family needs
- Utilize advanced monitoring and technologies to optimize patient outcomes in a dynamic, intensive care environment
