Experienced critical care nurses are needed for an engaging opportunity in an Intensive Care Unit environment. This contract role calls for a compassionate RN with a solid background in ICU care, ready to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced clinical setting. Your expertise will be valued as you provide high-level patient care and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent ICU nursing experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position; specific shifts and duration will be provided during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients, including frequent monitoring and rapid response to changes in condition
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and provide advanced life support as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients families, providing education and emotional support
- Accurately document patient data, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records
- Adhere to infection control policies and all clinical best practices
