Schedule:
- Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Full-time assignment
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in New Mexico or Compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications (AHA)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills suited to ICU patient populations
- Strong communication abilities and respect for patient rights
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial nursing assessments and establish patient care priorities
- Systematically re-assess patients to monitor progress and identify care needs
- Create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in compliance with nursing standards
- Document interventions and Point of Care test results
- Engage in patient/family education and discharge planning
- Coordinate and adjust team assignments for optimal care delivery
- Mentor new staff and students, fostering a positive, collaborative team environment
- Uphold professionalism in all patient, staff, and physician interactions
- Support hospital policy adherence and continuous improvement initiatives
